Hyperbaric rooms - Recovery 100%

Description

Benefits of hyperbaric chambers:

Hyperbaric therapy, also known as mild hyperbaric oxygen therapy (MHBOT - Mild Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy), isTherapeutic use of oxygen in an environment pressurized with a level greater than 1 absolute atmosphere (ATA).

This non -invasive therapy is the most reliable way to Increase the transported oxygen levels in the blood to all organs of the body.
The typical treatment lasts 60-90 minutes, during which the patient is normally breathing in an isolated and dedicated environment.

It has been demonstrated in several clinical studies that mild hyperbaric oxygen therapy It improves the innate body ability to shelter and regenerate itself. It is therefore used as an additional therapy to integrate and improve the healing process both in conditions chronic That acute.

Hyperbaric treatment is based on the concept of relationship between gas pressure and absorption in liquids (blood, plasma and tissues).

By placing a subject in a hyperbaric environment at a pressure of 3 psi, an increase in partial pressure on oxygen gas, therefore, leads to dissolving more oxygen in the equivalent amount of plasma. This saturation of oxygen in the blood allows you to transport and spread very extra oxygen in body tissues and in the internal organs, including the brain.

Hyperbaric oxygen therapy is designed to increase oxygen intake to the ischemic tissue or to the sick tissues that normally respond to the increase in oxygen levels. Increase the volume of dissolved oxygen in the blood plasma produces five basic effects:

  1. Reduction of the volume of gas bubbles in the blood
  2. Vasoconstriction, which reduces edema and secondary hypoxia
  3. Restoration of aerobic metabolism in the ischemic tissue
  4. Detoxification of poisoned fabrics
  5. Improvement of phagocytosis

The use of hyperbaric chambers is recommended for:

  • Rapid recovery post accident or trauma
  • Pre and post medical surgery and dental

Frequent questions about hyperbaric chambers:

Are the hyperbaric rooms safe?

Absolutely yes! The hyperbaric chamber uses compressed and filtered air, conditioned and oxygenated. Even making regular use, there is no risk of oxygen toxicity since we will reach a maximum of 25% saturation which can be brought to 99% only with the use of the personal mask.
Once inside the room it is possible to communicate both visually and verbally with the outside without any difficulty. Most people signal a comfortable and very relaxing experience and leave the room feeling regenerated.
This therapy is not invasive, it is not pharmaceutical and there are no dangerous side effects.

Can children come in themselves?

No! An adult must always accompany a child. It is a great time to be together and dedicate time to adult/child bond by reading or playing.

How long does a session last?

A session usually lasts from 60 minutes to 90 minutes.

With what frequency do I have to plan my sessions?

A recommendation will be made according to your therapeutic needs and after a first evaluation of the required objectives.

What can I do during my hyperbaric session?

  • Listen to music or watch a movie on your PC or tablet
  • Use your mobile phone without limits to call or text
  • Play with portable games or a mini-coupon
  • Read books or magazines also on digital readers
  • Sleeping with relaxation and/or sensory deprivation tools

What can I expect to happen during my session?

Before it is inflated, the room will seem smaller than it is not to when it is completely pressurized. Within a minute the room will swell completely, leaving enough space to an adult to sit in a erect position or to lie completely. After the room is swollen, it will start pressurizing. This is the moment when you could try light pressure on the ears. The easiest way to relieve any pain in the ears is a short compensation by simply using one or more of the following methods:

  • Close your mouth and firmly blocked your nose closed with your fingers and thumbs. Browse, as if you blow your nose, but always keeping your nose and mouth closed. If done correctly, you will hear the air out through the ears and this should compensate for the pressure difference.
  • Or yawning and opening the mouth as much as possible, also lengthening the tongue: the passages of the breasts surrounding the ears thus download the air, reducing the pressure differential.
  • Sit in the erect position. Turn your head completely to the right, then completely to the left. Repeat the previous steps until the ears are freed.

If you were the parent of a small child who has problems with his ears during pressurization, you should massage the area just under your ears right behind the jaw.

Are there side effects?

No dangerous side effects have been reported with mild hyperbaric therapy. However, there are some things to keep in mind when you prepare for the first session in a room:

  • Some people experience a slight discomfort in the ears when they feel the room but very similar to the feeling that you feel in the landing phase in an aerial flight.
  • Some people experience slight tiredness after their first sessions while the body frees itself from the toxic elements that have accumulated in the body. This is a safe and necessary effect for the path of physical improvement.

Are there any other tips to improve the experience in the room?

It is always better to wear comfortable and wide clothing since tight clothing can help generate the sensation of claustrophobia.

You don't have to drink large quantities of liquids before entering the room.

Do not use perfumes or colonies when you know you have a hyperbaric session.

Are there reasons why a person should not enter the room?

There are simple but specific limitations on the use of the room. You should never enter us if:

  • You are under the influence of alcohol or psychotropic drugs,
  • If you have serious problems with the auditory duct, the tympanum or in the presence of an ear infection
  • If you have flu or cold symptoms
  • If you have used perfume or colony
